Donor Magazine
Organization: KQED, Northern California’s PBS and NPR affiliate
Project: Go Public, a magazine for high-level donors
Role: Content strategist and developer, writer, editor, production manager
To create a dynamic new version of a high-level donor publication, I focused on three goals: to show impact, breadth of work, and to take donors behind the scenes at KQED. There are five interviews, including one with Snap Judgment and Spooked Host and Executive Producer Glynn Washington (shown here).
Excerpt (from Glynn Washington interview): What happens when you leave out the boring parts of a story and go straight to the snap-judgment decision point? Built on that premise, the popular, award-winning public radio show and podcast series Snap Judgment mixes true stories with riveting music to produce cinematic, dramatic storytelling.
